Toronto based design studio specializing in custom hand knotted rugs and home accessories.

Studio Eeuwes

Eeuwes is a design studio based in Toronto, Canada. We create rugs and home accessories celebrating traditional weaving techniques with contemporary designs and colour stories.

Liz Eeuwes is a Canadian designer who studied Product Design at the Glasgow School of Art. A love of textiles and emphasis on fine craftsmanship led Liz to develop a passion for home accessories.

Eeuwes is a materials-led design studio specializing in high quality rug collections and home accessories. Our products have grown to include hand knotted rugs, tufted rugs and flat woven dhurrie rugs. Together with our weaving partners we endeavour to provide the best quality design and weaving service.

As our collections grow we continue to employ new weaving techniques to build a family of home accessories that are made to last.

January 2015 saw the launch of Eeuwes's first accessories range including handwoven cushions, runners and dhurries.

In addition to the Studio Collections, we provide a bespoke rug design service to private clients and industry. Please contact the studio to discuss custom rugs or collaborations,
